<p>There is one fundamental reason as to why you haven&#8217;t been able to loose the pounds despite your most dogged and sincere efforts.  And that reason boils down to one word&#8211; TOXICITY! <p>Ever wonder why it is that you can get out and run and run and run in beautiful Georgetown and not seem to lose the weight? Well some of the latest research suggests that if a man works out at his target heart rate for a full one hour per day and he did this for a full six days every week for the period of one year, that man would lose six and one half pounds of body fat per year.</p>
<p>In essence, to lose 20 pounds at most, you would need to exercise approximately 20 hours a week!</p>
<p>If you have heard that with aerobic exercise you can effectively burn fat, then you are privy to the biggest myth in fitness and personal training today. Fitness experts or high priced personal trainers often will present you with a couple of reasons aerobics should be part of your fat-losing regimen:</p>
<p>Myth#1: You can burn more calories with aerobic exercise. Although aerobics dose burn calories, it is not as efficient as people believe. For instance, to burn roughly 500 calories you would need to work out 45 minutes on an elliptical machine.</p>
<p>On the other hand, by doing 30 minutes of resistance training such as weight lifting, and approximately 15 minutes alternating between high and low intensity exercise also known as interval training you will burn 40% more in the same amount of time! That is roughly 700 calories! As an added benefit that aerobics doesn&#8217;t give you, your metabolism stays elevated for 24 to 36 hours after this work out.</p>
<p>Given the fast pace of life in Georgetown, the later is much better alternative.  Also, you don&#8217;t need a personal trainer to supervise all of your workouts.  As long as they create a detailed plan for you, then you can get great results without having to see them every day.</p>
<p>Myth #2: Aerobic exercise will put you in your fat burning zone. Yes, you will burn a greater percentage of calories from fat during your aerobic workout, but keep in mind that this is a larger percentage of a smaller number so its less fat overall. Also, resistance training has been repeatedly shown to increase the percentage of calories that your body burns from fat during the rest of the day, which is when we burn 80 to 90% of our calories.</p>
<p>The reality is that 15 minutes of interval training will do more for your cardiovascular fitness than 45 minutes of jogging.  So, if you start talking to a personal trainer in Georgetown and they start talking about how you need to go jogging or do cardio for 45min per day, run the other way!</p>

<p>#1. Walk over to M street and locate the Exxon gas station, were going to start at the Exorcist steps.</p>
<p>#2.  Warm-up:  Walk up the stairs once, and walk down.  Jog up once and walk down.</p>
<p>#3. Now that you are warmed up run to the very top of the stairs, walk down and rest for approximately one minute at the bottom. Repeat this for 15 minutes or 12 times whichever comes first.</p>
<p>You&#8217;ve just gotten better results in less time with a great view of Georgetown.</p>

Fresh vegetables and fruits are rich in vitamin C and the amino acid glutathione, both of which are important anti oxidants. These anti oxidants remove free radicals from the body. Most of these fresh fruits and vegetables are recommended in liver detox diets due to their anti oxidant effect. Beta- carotene and vitamin E are other examples of anti oxidant vitamins.</p>
<p>Apart from antioxidant vitamins, simple nutrients such as, vitamin B and calcium play very important roles in the elimination of harmful chemical substances from the body.</p>
<p>Get good source of drinking water. You need adequate fluid intake to flush toxic substances in the detoxification process. The source of water maters to avoid introduction of harmful microorganisms into the body. For water safety, bottled water is recommended.</p>
<p>Use herbs. Many plants contain medicinal substances, which are effective in the detoxification of the liver. One of them is milk thistle. Milk thistle extracts hold chemical substances named as flavonoids. Flavonoids are effective for liver detoxification and protect the liver from damage. Milk of thistle functions by prevention of the depletion of glutathione and increasing the level of glutathione in the body. Glutathione has been used for treatment of some liver diseases like liver cirrhosis and hepatitis.</p>
<p>Avoid foods that harm the liver. It is a waste of effort carrying out the liver detoxification process if efforts are not made to avoid eating habits that harm the liver. You must avoid the use of artificial flavorings or food additives. Alcohol and saturated animal fats should be avoided. Go for foods, which are produced organically.</p>
<p>In conclusion, liver detox is useful to maintain a healthy liver, the only organ involved in detoxification. The detoxification process involves a healthy diet plan, use of herbs and adjustment of lifestyle.</p>

The Adonis look alike state is definitely where it&#8217;s at for most men, and women appreciate it just as much.</p>
<p>Just what are abs? That is an abbreviation for the abdominal muscles found around the middle of the human torso including the rectus abdominus muscle (also referred to as the 6 pack), the transverse abdominal muscle, the internal oblique muscles, and the external obliques.</p>
<p>In order to develop the abdominal muscles to their fullest glory, you must know what their respective duties are and how to incorporate a 6 pack workout into your schedule and your busy life. The functions are as follows: the rectus abdominus muscle or 6 pack, is found on the front of the torso between the ribs and the pelvic bone and aids in the all around motion of the middle body; the transverse abdominal muscle acts as a belt, and holds your insides in; the internal obliques are just inside the hip bones and flank the rectus abdominus so they can rotate the torso; and the external obliques are responsible for twisting the torso, as they are found on the sides.</p>
<p>When you want to put together a 6 pack workout, you must consider all the types of exercises that are out there tailored specifically to the abdominal section of the body. The most common exercise group that is recommended for firm flat abs is the crunches; and they are found to be much more effective in developing a 6 pack more so than are situps. And situps are far more dangerous for people just starting out with a workout regimen because if you are not careful, doing situps can pull on your back and cause painful damage to the lower back. Some of the other exercise choices are leg lifts, static holds (which are used to train your core muscles), various types of twists for the obliques, and the bicycle maneuver.</p>
<p>But history has proved that exercise alone will not give you the 6 pack abs you are longing for; you must incorporate a well balanced and planned eating program into your 6 pack workout in order to get the results you want. This would include a diet plan that would reduce fat which tends to be the culprit that is hiding the abs from world view; and revamping your routines so that your carbohydrates, both ingested and stored, are used up effectively. This can be done by lifting weights combined with cardiovascular exercises that are designed to speed up your metabolism; but (and this is a big but here), there is a certain order in which to perform these exercises so you will have the most effective 6 pack workout. The weightlifting is to be done first because that uses mainly carbohydrates as an energy source; and then do the cardiovascular routine because now you have little stored energy reserves left and the body goes for stored fat to get its energy.</p>
<p>So now you have a good idea of what exercises will help you put together a good 6 pack workout, and there are just a few items to keep in the forefront of your mind when you are starting your regimen. First of all, with the exercises on a daily basis, you need to Keep your metabolism steady, Drink more water (include a lot of tea if you want-it&#8217;s almost all water and is a good metabolism booster as well), Eat smaller meals and eat more often during the day, Eat more fiber-keep your system moving, and most important of all (to the chagrin of a lot of people) Eat breakfast.</p>
<p>This is not going to be easy; there&#8217;s a lot of work involved in the word &#8220;workout&#8221; especially when it applies to an effective 6 pack workout; so to stay the course, you must be honest with yourself and stick with a well balanced eating plan and a good set of exercises. The diet will get rid of that fat that is camouflaging the abs, and the exercises will develop them; because remember, to get rid of 1 pound of unadulterated fat every week, you must lessen your intake of calories by 500 a day. But it will be worth it in the long run&#8212;sooner than you think, you will be sauntering down the beach with your spectacular 6 pack abs glistening in the sun surrounded by people faint with admiration.</p>

<p>There is always the desire for anyone to look their best. For decades, people have been searching to look their absolute best as much as they possibly could. With this said, there have been advancements in the medical field to do exactly that, usually falling under the field of <a target="_blank" target='_blank' href="http://www.bramptoncosmetic.com/">plastic surgery</a>. One of the biggest concerns with most people in the world was that they find as if they are not exactly happy with their weight, which is where fat transplantation comes in.</p>
<p>What is it? Fat transplantation is simply the removal of fat from one part of the body to another part of the body. The most common form of this practice is known as liposuction. The fat from one part is moved into a more desirable part where a patient feels that they are lacking, such as the breasts or lips. Its common knowledge that as we grow older, the face loses its elasticity, making it look droopier as the years go by. In this procedure, people can actually get some of the fullness back by using fat transplantation.</p>
<p>Usually, the surgeons can actually add up to about eight ounces of fat into the desired area of the face, producing dramatic results for the person who wishes to have this done. The face is not the only place where this can be done; virtually any area can be the target of fat transplantation, assuming that these areas have not been the area of an earlier surgery. </p>
<p>Potential Problems and Recovery In any procedure, there is always the case of the potential problem occurring on the operating table. Luckily in fat transplantation, the surgery usually isnt so vital that it may cause anything too life-changing in most efforts, but things do happen. For instance, transplantation in breast augmentation can change the interior of the breast, and calcification may incur. But, this is also the bane of any altered soft tissue in the body, and it does not happen very often if done correctly. </p>
<p>The recovery process for fat transplantation isnt too bad, and in the case of breasts surgically augmented, a special bra would have to be worn for a couple of weeks after the surgery is completed. And to aid the healing process, a hyperbolic chamber is used to moisturize the skin to speed it up.</p>
<p>It is the desire of everyone to look their best, and for some people, this can be exactly what a person may need to live their lives at their full potential. Looking good is important, and not only for aesthetic purposes, but building confidence is something that many people need for them to get exactly what they want in every situation. And with fat transplantation, this is exactly the way for them to go! </p>
<p>The process usually does not take very long for them to heal, and the dangers are pretty minimal. For every procedure, it is highly advisable that they talk to their personal physician to see how this may affect their body and if they are right for any procedure to take place.</p>
