<p>It seems that getting toned arms has become more of an art than a science. Why? Because many women have fallen prey to the art of marketing spin instead of listening to the science of exercise principles. </p>
<p>I know because I used to be one of them. </p>
<p>To make matters even more confusing, sometimes the science isn&#8217;t clear and it has to be interpreted. And human interpretation is subject to error. </p>
<p>Having said that, not all hope is lost in your quest to get toned arms. Why? Because I&#8217;ve been sifting through the ambiguity for quite some time now. And I&#8217;m ready to share.</p>
<p>So without further ado, here is my critique of overhead triceps extensions to get toned arms:</p>
<p><b>1. Overview:</b> Because of the stress this exercise can put on the female elbow joint and because of the difficulty in getting a heavy bar overhead, I do NOT recommend this exercise. If you can overcome these two obstacles, however, you should consider doing it.</p>
<p><b>2. Technical overview:</b> Secure a low bench with lower back support. Grab an ezbar with an overhand grip, sit on the bench and dig into the ground with the back part of your foot. Maintain your arms above your head. Keep your abs very tight and slowly lower the bar to the base of your neck. Bring it back up and repeat.</p>
<p><b>3. Most common errors:</b> Letting the elbows bow in and out. Allowing the back to bend out of alignment. Not keeping the abs extremely tight. And ignoring wrist pain.</p>
<p><b>4. Bottom line:</b> Because of the difficulty in getting a heavy ez-bar overhead and because of the stress on the elbow joint, I do not recommend this exercise for the majority of women. However, you could experiment with it and see how your body reacts.</p>
<p>Choosing which exercises to include in your arm toning program is critical for long term health. After all, what&#8217;s the point of getting lean and toned arms if you end up with worn out joints, or even worse, a permanent injury? So stay healthy during your sexy arm journey!</p>

<p>There are certain arm toning exercises that should be a staple in your program. And there are certain exercises that you should stay away from like the plague. Unfortunately, many women are consistently doing exercises that they should be avoiding. </p>
<p>Why does this happen?</p>
<p>Well, I believe we have a case of tradition overshadowing modern science. It seems as though certain fitness experts have been recommending specific arm exercises for so long that most women simply do them without any questioning. </p>
<p>Luckily for you, I&#8217;ve done all the research and I&#8217;m ready to share my findings. Why? Because I believe that getting sexy and toned arms shouldn&#8217;t involve the risk of injury.</p>
<p>Thus, here is my critique of triceps kickbacks for reducing flabby arms:</p>
<p><b>1. Summary:</b> This is probably the most overrated triceps exercise out there. Seriously. I think this exercise is a waste of time for two main reasons. First, exercising one arm at a time is extremely inefficient. Second, you can&#8217;t use heavy weights when doing this exercise. And heavy weights are critical for the fastest arm toning.</p>
<p><b>2. How to do it:</b> Keep your knees slightly bent and lean forward. Place one hand on a bench. Use your other hand to grab a dumbbell and align your arm along the torso. Lift the dumbbell by extending your arm. Then slowly lower it. </p>
<p><b>3. High frequency mistakes:</b> Not keeping the elbows frozen in place. Jerking the dumbbell up and down. And not using the full range of movement.</p>
<p><b>4. Bottom line:</b> Just because all the other women in your gym are doing this exercise doesn&#8217;t mean that you should. There are far better exercises out there for toning the triceps. Do not buy into this one.</p>
<p>Doing ineffective arm toning exercises is extremely demoralizing because you won&#8217;t get results. You&#8217;ll feel like you&#8217;re going around in circles. And without results, you&#8217;re more likely to quit. So make sure you stick to what works and disregard everything else, even if everybody is doing it. Good luck!</p>

We have heard about these diets and plans but the problem is that they are nowhere near the fundamentals. So it is better to revisit the basics rather than to take a crappy approach for effective weight loss. However there is a lot information that needs to be clarified, because there is too much misleading information floating around.</p>
<p>The following are certain misleading concepts that people who are looking out for effective George Town weight loss should be aware of.</p>
<p>To begin with, aerobic activity is not the most effective method to burn calories. Although it is a fact that aerobics burns calories, it is equally a fact that it does not burn as many calories as we think it does. Hence aerobics workout sessions tend not to yield the desired results.</p>

<p>Weight training raises the body metabolism automatically, is another myth that needs to be addressed. Muscle mass can generally raise metabolism only if you are already ripped. If on the other hand, you are a beginner who has just started the weight training then it is impossible for you to experience increased metabolism due to muscle mass. People should be aware of this, so that they do not carry any false hopes.</p>
<p>And, while this could ruffle a few feathers in the Georgetown weight loss community, the fact remains that many Registered Nurses and professional nutritionists are simply poor sources of diet information. Yes, they may have some knowledge but their skills are no where near what may be needed to help you drop a lot of excess pounds. So, take whatever they tell you wish a proverbial grain of salt.</p>
